About this Event

Interested in conducting novel, interdisciplinary research this summer? Want to find out more about the emerging new field of mechanobiology? Exploring options for graduate school in bioengineering, material sciences, mechanical engineering, plant sciences, cell biology, biomedical sciences, or biophysics?

Join Annie Jeong, Assistant Director of Education and Diversity of the Center for Engineering MechanoBiology (CEMB) and current researchers for an informative session on paid undergraduate summer research opportunities and graduate programs focusing on mechanobiology.

This session will be offered on four dates over Zoom:

- September 29, 2020 | 12pm EST

- October 28 | 6pm EST

- November 12 |  3pm EST

- November 20 | 4pm EST

You will receive the meeting link after your register.

The Center for Engineering MechanoBiology is an NSF-funded Science and Technology Center. Founded in 2017, the CEMB consists of 7 research institutions and 7 educational partners. The mission of the CEMB is to advance the study of mechanical forces in molecules, cells, and tissues in plants and animals. We aim to train the next generation of scientists, engineers, researchers, and leaders to become life-long learners and to look across disciplines to understand and control force in living systems.
