Event description
Learn about how to find and apply for REUs--funded summer research opportunities.

About this event

Please register with your official Northeastern University email.

The National Science Foundation’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program offers students the chance to contribute meaningfully to NSF-funded research projects while building relationships with mentors and peers. REUs occur during the summer, happen all over the US (and abroad), and provide participants with a generous stipend. They often assist with travel and housing, as well. REUs are a fantastic chance to build your research profile and connect with a mentor you might not otherwise have had the chance to meet. Learn how to find great REUs and put together strong applications.

Eligibility: Undergraduate student participants in REUs must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or permanent residents of the United States.
