Description

The Clinical Research Coordinator Skills Validation Session is offered through NUCATS to demonstrate and document competency in Clinical Research Coordinators at Northwestern University. In the validation session you will demonstrate competency in the following clinical skills and receive documentation which meets the requirements for access and privileges at NMHC. This session is open to coordinators who have completed the Clinical Research Coordinator Didactic Session through NUCATS or who have been previously trained in these skills.

The skills that will be assessed are

-Vital Signs

-Anthropometric Measurements (height, weight, hip circumference, waist circumference)

-Phlebotomy

-EKG


The class is limited to 10 participants and is only open to current employees of Northwestern University who are working in clinical research. The course is free of charge.

*This class is offered to paid Northwestern University employees.*

Please note: the Skills Validation Session does not provide any training or coaching but simply assesses competency. In order receive training you can sign up for the Clinical Research Coordinator Didactic Session.
