Description

Organizer Note: This workshop has been rescheduled to Spring 2019. If you are interested in learning more about the topic before then, please reach out to Danny Becker at beckerd@mit.edu.

Why is class often so difficult to talk about? How do the effects of class differences impact our work, our work relationships and our workplaces? Why is it important to collaborate across class divisions to create more unity, especially in these times? What is your class story?

Discus these questions and more at the Class Action Workshop! Class Action has spent 14 years developing creative ways of asking questions, sharing personal experiences and helping people to engage with issues of class in a meaningful way. This workshops will be highly interactive, engaging and focused on learning from one another in the room.

Annie Hamilton, Class Action Trainer and workshop facilitator, is currently studying at Boston University's School of Social Work. She is a white, working-class, queer-woman committed to using a Liberation Health model to support social change.
