RESCHEDULED (15 Feb): Observation (DBM)
Mon, January 30, 2017, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM GST
Facilitator: Dr. Larry Davies
Observation is a critical element in novice-teacher development. It enables novice teachers to study and reflect on various roles and approaches used by more experienced teachers in classroom settings, and helps to solidify a personal and professional philosophy of classroom-based practice. Participants in this session will experience an overview of types of sessions, and various processes to support those session types. They will also have practice in identifying patterns of teaching and learning that help or hinder student learning.
