Event description

Description

REPORTER EMPOWERMENT is not for everyone. REPORTER EMPOWERMENT is a conference for freelance court reporters. The focus of REPORTER EMPOWERMENT is on helping freelance court reporters get better, do work they're proud of, without physical and mental exhaustion. It's where voices of experience share valuable institutional knowledge on not only writing skills, but negotiation skills, sharp comebacks to difficult, inappropriate, or unreasonable requests, how to deal with obstacles we encounter on the job, and how to find great work by running your business LIKE a business. REPORTER EMPOWERMENT is less about being paid what you are worth, more about being worth what you are paid!
