Description

Introduced by Mark Drakeford (AM), this event will bring together HD patients, academics, policy makers, health professionals and members of the public to highlight the advances and challenges in the use of stem cells as a therapy for Huntington’s disease.

Speakers will include:

  • Sarah Tabrizi: The Ionis study - taking therapeutics interventions to clinic
  • Pete Coffey: Taking stem cell treatments to clinical trial for macular degeneration
  • Anne Rosser: Repair-HD - what have we achieved
  • Ed Wild: will lead a discussion on the status of transplant therapies for HD

Registration is free and the event will be followed by a wine reception
