Renovator's Home Tour: Threshold to Change is a self-guided home tour that offers guests a first-hand look at home renovations that showcase inovative design, clever use of space and architectural imagination ...turning a homeowner's space into a home that truly fits their needs and vision. The tour will showcase two dozen homes in the areas of Downtown Lancaster, School Lane Hills, Manheim Township and Lititz. Additionally, we will feature a "tiny home," built by Liberation Tiny Homes.
All proceeds from Renovator's Home Tour benefit Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, building homes, communities and hope for families in need across Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
NOTE: Visit our website at www.renovatorshometour.com for the complete list of homes on the tour. You may check in at any of these locations.
Where else can I purchase tickets?
If you would like to avoid the fee that EventBrite charges us to process the ticket sales, you can also purchase tickets at our ticket retail outlets: David Lyall Home & Design; Penn Stone; and Lancaster Habitat ReStore. To help us help our ticket sellers to avoid credit card costs, please consider using check or cash to make your purchase.
Will tickets be available on the day of the event?
A limited number of tickets will be sold on the day of the event for $50 each at the above ticket retail outlets. We strongly recommend advance purchase to ensure entry.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes. You must be at least 16 years old to attend the tour. Please bring your driver's license or other picture ID on the day of the event. With initial check-in at the first home you choose to visit, you will be given a wristband, allowing you immediate entry to all other homes.
How do I know where to begin?
You will receive an event reminder one week prior to the Tour. Within this email, there will be a list of homes and their addresses. You may select any home to start the tour. At your initial check in, you will receive a tour program.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Any specific parking instructions or directions to homes are given within the Home Tour program, under "Home Descpritions."
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Absolutely no food, drink or smoking is permitted anywhere on the homeowner's property. Pets are not permitted in the home or on the property. With check-in, you will be given a pair of shoe covers to wear inside the homeowners home. Stops for restroom use are designated in the tour program. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event, the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Please be sure to read the "Tour Ettiquette" portion of your reminder email that you will receive prior to the Tour. There will be additional information about how we aim to best take care of the homes that are being generously open to us for touring.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You may contact Amy Balestier, Director of Communications for Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, at email@example.com with any questions.
