During this year’s Outsider Art Fair, LAND Gallery staff was approached by two friends - George Ricciardelli and Jake Baer - who proposed a special collaboration to celebrate the art and culture of The League Education & Treatment Center's LAND program. George and Jake suggested an event to be hosted at Newel that would recognize and support the LAND’s talented artists.
Thanks to their generous efforts, LAND artists will exhibit their work at one of the world’s premier art and antique galleries. Newel is the most extensive decorative and fine arts gallery in the United States, having been a premiere destination for international collectors and designers for over 70 years. Housed in a six story building in East Midtown Manhattan, it showcases over 10,000 extraordinary works from around the globe dating from the 17th to the 20th Century, and is also involved in the creation of original pieces and reproductions.
On June 20th, a carefully curated selection of artwork by LAND artists will be made available for sale and presented alongside Newel’s outstanding art and antiques.
