Vigo County Youth Soccer Association CAMP PROGRAM

Rene Meulensteen "Master your Opponent" camp, July 20-23, 2015.  Ages 11-18, boys and girls, sponsored by VCYSA.

Curriculum includes the US Technical Championship challenge ($50 value including some great hand-outs; Medal, Certificate, Dryfit Jersey and a chance to qualify for the Regional Technical Championship held in Indianapolis, IN - November 2015).

Our proven and successful player development curriculum allows players of all ages and stages of development to steadily progress.  We are using the "Moves & Skills" curriculum, a player centered, inviting, fun, and encouraging program. For 2015 we have changed the curriculum and will introduce new activities while remain focused on a player's creativity and personality development.  Once again, we have included the "US Technical Championship" Challenge (visit our website at for more detail)

This event will be held on the last day of the camp program and runs from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.  Players receive even more technical instruction followed by various 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4 games where they try to put the "Moves & Skills" in to practice.  The USTC is there for the players to learn and enjoy more of the game and for the coaches to see how technique can be trained in an effective, positive, and challenging way.  Both players and coaches will walk away a winner during this event.  Age group winners receive an invite to participate in the Regional Technical Championship finals held in Indianapolis, IN - early November 2015 - specifics TBA.
