To help raise these funds, the Xi Kappa Lambda Educational Foundation will host its 31st Renaissance on the Bayou Scholarship Gala on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Stafford Centre. This event is the culmination of fundraising efforts by the Foundation and our valued partners. During the event, scholarships will be awarded to deserving students seeking higher education. In addition to highlighting talented students, we will also recognize sponsors, partners, and community volunteers who continue to help make our foundation a success. The evening will consist of dinner, dancing, casino games and a silent auction. This year, we are elated to have Yolanda Ford, the first African-American Mayor of Missouri City, serve as our Honorary Chair.

Proceeds from Renaissance on the Bayou benefit the Xi Kappa Lambda Educational Foundation for initiatives such as our Alpha Academy. The Alpha Academy provides mentoring to middle school boys, focusing on character development, academic excellence and life skills.
