About this event
Come and learn about journey mapping for educational contexts, then try it out remotely. Adapted from the Service Design industry, this powerful technique utilizes storytelling and visualization to reveal the complexities of a learner’s experience over time. When used as an active tool for design research, the method builds inclusion and equity into the design process itself, giving agency to stakeholders.
We’ll model this technique and how it can be used for learning experience design and in face-to-face and remote settings. Then, we will all build a journey map together, collaboratively, remotely. Sounds impossible, right? It’s actually quite easy. No experience necessary. By the end of the session, you’ll be journey mapping like a pro, and ready to go out and use the technique. It’s a powerful tool to have in your toolbox, and you’ll be ready to try it.
