Remediating Struggling Readers

This session will discuss the hallmarks of the struggling reader, when to seek help, what kinds of supports are most beneficial in the classroom, the importance of teacher training, and salient questions to ask when interviewing a tutor.  Presenter: Jennings Miller, M.Ed., Fellow-in-Training, Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (www.ortonacademy.org).
