    Description

Effective and inclusive leadership skills depend on a certain level of “literacy” in the language of diversity—but taboos against talking about difference often make it difficult to learn about others from casual conversation alone. This is especially true regarding religious difference.

In this special workshop series, attendees will learn about the basic history, beliefs and practices of a handful of the world’s religious groups, participate in a group discussion religious diversity on our campus, and draft individualized action plans for developing religious literacy as a leadership practice. This series is presented as a partnership between the DiversiKey Certificate Program and the Honors College Diversity Matters Series.
