Description

Lutheran Heritage Speaker: Rev. Dr. Gregory Seltz

The schedule for Nov. 3rd is:

5:30 PM - Potluck meal (meat, drinks and table service provided; you bring a side dish to share if you wish)

6:15 PM - Keynote - Rev. Dr. Gregory Seltz, Executive Director of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty, Washington, D.C., and former Lutheran Hour speaker.

7:30 PM - Questions and discussion

Modern society increasingly looks to the overarching State to solve many of its cultural problems. In America, all of us have been given a protection called the First Amendment that allows Christians to put their temporal liberties to work for the sake of proclaiming the eternal liberties of Christ. Dr. Gregory Seltz will discuss biblical teachings that address the needs of our culture and mission of the Church. Dr. Seltz will also preach and teach adult Sunday school on the 4th.

The evening is open to all in our community. Please call (812.372.4859) or sign-up online. Childcare is free, but please tell us in advance if you need it (number of children and ages).
