Event description

Description

The event will highlight the persecution of Christians and Religious minorities in Iran who endure a host of human rights violations on a daily basis. The event will host Members of Congress, Policy Experts and NGO leaders who will inform the full scope and context of this reality and examine ways to move the issue forward through effective foreign policy measures and other multilateral policy mechanisms. The discussion will tackle various aspects surrounding the human rights and religious freedom violations in Iran from the regional geopolitical landscape to the role of the international community in pressuring domestic political change in Iran.

Through the event, we hope to raise the profile of this issue and ensure that the stories of persecuted do not go unheard. The event is open to all and will begin with a catered lunch at 12noon with refreshments available throughout the event. We invite all interested parties to participate in the event and hear from our list of distinguished speakers.
