Event description

Description

What kind of society is conducive to human flourishing? What kind of people do we want to be? What are our responsibilities to each other and to the environment? These questions have been asked by all societies throughout history. Questions such as these are political but also religious and this conference, in memory of Reverend Dr Yap Kim Hao, will address how political ideals are central to most religions and how the relationship between religion and politics has developed in South-East Asia.
