Information Session Description:
A highly effective classroom teacher has an immense impact on his or her students' academic and life trajectory. Here at Relay, we are developing public school teachers who are focused on continuously improving their craft in order to drive the academic achievement of their students. In particular, we will foucs on our Teaching Exceptional Learners program:
- Broaden your skills and learn how to support exceptional learners toward achieving ambitious academic goals
- Curriculum provides a foundation in all disabilities, with an emphasis on learning disabilities and behavioral needs
- Earn certification as a special educator; work as a general education teacher or in the range of roles available to specialists
You will have the chance to learn what makes the Relay model unique and effective. Our graduate students are trained by professors who themselves are champion teachers with proven track records in their own K-12 classrooms.
