The Instructional Leadership Professional Development (ILPD) program is aimed at all school staff who coach teachers. The program is aimed at providing actionable tools and systems aimed at making instructional coaching data driven, efficient and impactful. Participants will work in school teams to develop a common language and systems and will leave sessions with a clear roadmap for implementation aligned to their school’s schedule.
Participants in the Instructional Leadership Professional Development program will focus deeply on two key elements of instructional leadership: Data Driven Instruction and Observation & Feedback.
DATA-DRIVEN INSTRUCTION / Learn how to implement school-wide systems for collecting and analyzing student work to ensure that all students meet rigorous expectations.
OBSERVATION & FEEDBACK / Help your teachers grow to their full potential by building a schedule that supports frequent classroom observations and focused feedback meetings.
PROGRAM COST - We are offering a one-time discounted program fee of $1,500. This fee covers session materials as well as breakfast and lunch. For those who do not register by May 1st, 2017, the registration fee will increase by $150.
SESSION DATES & LOCATIONS - sessions will be held in the Bay Area (specific location TBA) and will be broken up into two segments so attendees can digest and implement their learnings and return for follow-up.
Session 1: July 25 - 26
Session 2: Sept 28 - 29
