Event description

Description

This half-day retreat offers a unique opportunity to learn and practice meditation from Kilung Rinpoche, the Tibetan meditation master, who will join the class via video conference for an hour.

Soon after Kilung Rinpoche began teaching in the US in the 1990s, he recognized how deeply Western cultural pressures can influence the way people walk the path of meditation, often bringing a sense of pressure into their practice. He began developing the seven meditations that will be introduced in this retreat. Refreshingly simple, these meditations remain true to the essence of the meditation tradition. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your experience is.

Recommended Donation: $25

NOTE: We will be providing lunch food for participants and everyone will be asked to contribute once we know what it will cost (which is expected to cost about $15). Please bring cash to cover this. There won't be time to go out for lunch and there aren't any kitchen facilities at the BCCP, so please plan to participate in the shared lunch unless there extenuating circumstances.
