What audiences will take away from the workshop:
You will learn about the function of stress and how people are wired to respond to it. We’ll discuss how you can use your existing strengths and values to help you flourish, as well as teach you a few practical strategies to help you live better. In the workshop, we’ll try out some self care activities that tend to help improve wellbeing and relaxation. We’ll also talk about what to do if things become overwhelming, and how to access more support at various levels. We’ll look at what balance is for you, and how you can take steps to get there today. Some questions I’ll address:
What even is stress, and how do I make it stop?
What’s happening in my brain?
How do I balance things in my life better?
Where do I go if I can’t cope?
How do I feel better and be more successful without changing anything?
6pm arrival for 6.30pm start, tea and coffee provided.
*Venue is wheelchair accessible.
