About this event
The fifth of our 8-part Wisdom Meditation series, intended for new and seasoned meditators alike. We will join together through Zoom to learn and meditate in a welcoming and uplifting group setting. Each event in the series features a different meditation technique.
What Will I Learn?
This evening will be led by Ilonka O’Neil, an experienced and inspiring yoga teacher, meditation guide and RN. She will introduce us to the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques developed by renowned Dr. Jon Cabat-Zinn which are used world-wide to assist with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. This is a practical approach to cultivating awareness and releasing restrictions, so we can have more choice to take wise action in our lives. There will be a brief overview of MBSR, some light physical movement and plenty of time for meditation and discussion.

If you don’t receive it, please contact us at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time via TEXT at 561-654-6847. The Zoom meeting room will open approximately 30 minutes before the class starts. Please join at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can address any questions you may have about Zoom and to give you time to settle in.
