Description

So we're going to start building community and capacity within the Hive from the inside out. We'll be offering more training for members, hosts, staff and facilaitors to deepen our work.

We are all working in spiritual spaces in uniquely bodied ways. The Enneagram is a tool for understanding ourselves and others. Leslie Hershberger is joining the Hive Faciliator Core team to help in developing our awareness of the three cores through which we receive the world and present ourselves in the world: head, heart, and gut. We'll make the coffee and tea, you can volunteer to bring fruit or donuts or other breakfasty treats. We'll start right at 9 so come a little early to get situated. And then we'll be done by noon so you can get back out into the day.

Leslie has been working for decades with the Enneagram and integral thinking. Here's how she describes the work:

You live in a web of relationships. Like every human being on the planet, you are affected by countless variables that shape you who you are.

Yet you are one of a kind. Every conversation and life event is filtered through your own IOS which has been programmed and updated from the time before you were born.

With awareness and intention, you can rework stagnant, stalled or hurtful programming. You know those points in your life, where you can almost feel something trying to break through.

In our workshop we'll be talking about group faciliation, hosting, and belonging through the three centers:

Head: Your mental habits
Heart: Your emotional habits and the patterns of energy in each emotion
Body: Your body’s reactions and responses to your habits. This includes your breathing, your sensations and your energy levels. This is called “somatic awareness.”
