Event description

Description

You are never too old to write your novel. There is no path you have taken in your life that can block you from telling your story. New York Times Bestselling author, Cynthia Bond was 53 when she published her first novel, RUBY, an Oprah Book Club pick. For over a decade she feared she was too old...it was too late to make her dream a reality. In this inspiring workshop Cynthia will share the steps she took to reach her goals. How she defeated procrastination, fear, lack of time, lack of faith in self, and greatest of all, doubt.

During the four hours Cynthia will help ignite your love of writing and storytelling by: giving you needed tools to reach your writing goals; answering and discussing your questions about writing and completing a project; and confronting the lies that may have stopped you. There will be time for writing using Cynthia's unique prompts and meditations. Cynthia will work with you to craft and form your idea for a memoir, a novel or a short-story. You do not have to walk into the Writer’s Lab with a fully formed idea...just a sense, a spark within that tells you have a story to tell.

Do you have an unfinished manuscript, tucked away, gathering dust? Is there a story you have wanted to tell for years? Allow Cynthia to help breath life into your story and rekindle your love of writing.
