Reiki 1, Shoden (The Beginner's Teachings) takes place on Sunday July 23rd in Los Feliz, Los Angeles California.

Reiki is a sacred Japanese healing art that promotes stress reduction, induces the relaxation response, and aids in the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Reiki 1 covers the "Beginner's Teachings". We will discuss what Reiki is, the origins of Reiki, and practice healing ourselves. Throughout the day you will receive Reiki 1 attunements which activates the Reiki energy in the hands and throughout the body. A gong reiki immersion meditation will be given after lunch. It will be a special day of self-love, healing, awareness, and personal transformation! By the end of class you will receive a Reiki 1 certification which makes you eligible to continue on to Reiki level 2, Okuden (The Hidden/Inner Teachings)
