September 25 - Alexander Djordjevic
The Washington Post has declared him, “a constant infusion of original insight”. Mr. Djordjevic is a president of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the American Liszt Society. He performs internationally and is on the piano faculty of the College of DuPage and the Music Institute of Chicago.
October 9 – Yana Reznik
Russian born Yana Reznik is known as the “pianist with a voice,” breaking boundaries of the expected and creating innovative programs that bring classical music to a broad, younger audience. She performs internationally and is the founder, host and pianist of the 2015 “Playful Talk” program broadcast live from Piano Forte.
November 6 – Natasha Stojanovska
Having recently received her doctorate in piano performance from Northwestern, Ms. Stojanovska has delighted audiences world-wide with stunning performances that include Schubert, Rachmaninoff and Chopin as well as her original compositions.
December 11 – Conley Johnson with guest pianists Emmie Jung & Freya Wang
Mr. Johnson, the recipient of numerous awards began his piano studies at the American Conservatory in Chicago, at the age of three. Known for his sensitivity and authenticity at the piano, he brings a refined touch to whatever he plays preserving a grand romantic style. Special Guests - Freya Pang, 8. This outstanding first grader played at Carnegie Hall as a 1st place winner of the AFAF Festival. Freya’s good friend Emmie Guo, age 7, will join her. Emmie recently won The 2016 Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition.
