Description

Join Houston area small business owners on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 9:00 for a Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Roundtable at the Small Business Development Center. This roundtable is a unique opportunity to share your concerns about federal regulatory challenges your business is facing directly with the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Office of the National Ombudsman, representatives from SBA and other federal agencies.

At the Roundtable, you will be able to:

  • Learn how the SBA’s Office of the National Ombudsman and other federal partners can help your small business save time and money resolving complex regulatory compliance and enforcement issues.

  • Provide real-time input on regulatory fairness issues impacting your small business, and discuss ways the federal government can help small businesses to grow and thrive.

  • Learn more about resources and assistance available through the SBA, the Office of the National Ombudsman, and other federal agencies.

  • Meet local SBA representatives and SBA resource partners.

To RVSP: Please pre-register at https://txroundtablesba.eventbrite.com

To learn more about the Office of the National Ombudsman, please visit www.sba.gov/ombudsman or call 888-REG-FAIR.

SBA’s programs and services are provided to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made when requested one week in advance. Contact: Mr. John Kelly at john.kelly@sba.gov
