Registration - Outlandish Gatherings 2017

You are registering for Outlandish Gatherings 2017. The registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Registration fee covers the cost of your official OG2017 badge, lanyard and event swag, and goes toward event insurance, non-refundable deposits for tours, event venues, caterers, travel/accommodations/fees for special guests, entertainment & AV equipment rentals, fees for banking, finance, website management, printing, postal/shipping/storage, etc.
Each event at the Gathering is ticketed separately. Registration is NOT an event but a fee paid by all participants. Each registrant is eligible to purchase ONE adult ticket for each ticketed event, excluding VIP events. If you are purchasing registration for yourself and others, please be sure to enter the name of each individual guest. If an event ticket is purchased for an individual that has not registered, that person must pay the current registration fee, or their ticket will be canceled and refunded. This applies to all tickets.
The total cost for all currently planned events (not including VIP events) is $435 - including your registration fee.
$150 - Registration (includes custom badge/lanyard and swag bag)
NEW! All Registrants will receive admittance to a Friday night "Welcome Reception" including Treasure Vendors area, ice breaker activities/crafts, live music. - no additional ticket/cost
Registrants are guaranteed availability for the following ticketed events if tickets are purchased before March 1, 2017
$80 - Chartered Boston Harbor Cruise aboard Spirit of Boston (includes buffet)
$100 - Private Shipwreck Party (with Stephen Walters & Grant O'Rourke) (includes dinner buffet)
$75 - Lunch with the Highlanders (with Stephen Walters & Grant O'Rourke) (includes buffet)
$30 - Meet & Greet with Stephen & Grant (includes a signed photo and a photo op)
The Total for all 5 events is $435, which includes Registration and 3 meals. Each event is ticketed separately. This does NOT include VIP events which are limited in availability.
*2016 Registrations are being honored for the rescheduled event in Boston and you will receive a badge & lanyard - however since you received your swag bag by mail, there will be a $50 fee for a 2017 swag bag if you wish to receive one.

Friday, May 26
Registration 6-9PM, Harborview Ballroom, Westin Boston Waterfront
During registration from 6-9 PM at the Westin’s Harborview Ballroom, we will be hosting a Welcome Reception that will include a cash bar, light refreshments, live musical entertainment, make & take crafts, charity raffle for World Child Cancer, and an opportunity to shop with our Treasure Vendors. This event is open to ALL registrants and is an excellent opportunity to mix and mingle and get to visit with fellow fans. No additional ticket is required to attend this event.

Boston Harbor Cruise with Buffet aboard the Spirit of Boston (departs from 200 Seaport Drive) $80.00
Shipwreck Party at the Westin Boston Harbor (with Stephen Walters & Grant O'Rourke, includes buffet & entertainment) $100

Is there a room block for Gathering Guests?
Room blocks will be available at guaranteed rates for OG2017 - a link to the online reservation system at our host hotel will be emailed to all registrants their confirmation email.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Appropriate ID will be required for anyone wishing to consume alcoholic beverages. Some events will be 21+. Tickets are non-transferable. ID will be checked to confrim that name matches ticket holder.
Is my spouse welcome? Of course! Many spouses attend and participate in Outlandish Gatherings events. Approx. 1/4 of total registrants are significant others.
Is there an age requirement for guests?
This event is geared for guests 21 and not recommended for children. However, children will be permitted to events (unless otherwise noted) provided registration and tickets are purchased for all events they will be attending. .
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking in Boston is very costly, and the city is relatively compact and easy to access on foot or by public transportation. We do not recommend renting a car while at the Gathering. If you are driving from out of town, you can expect to pay $30 a day or more for garage parking. There are parking apps that can help you pre-arrange parking rates and reservations--we suggest you use one if you are driving into the city.
Many registrants are driving to the Gathering. Once you've joined the Facebook Group for registrants, you might find others traveling from your area to coordinate a ride share.
Most activities, will be within walking distance of hotels.
The hotel is located in Boston's Seaport district which is accessible via the MBTA's Silver Line public transit. This service is provided free for those traveling inbound from Logan Airport. The Silver Line also connects with Boston's South Station which makes transportation easy for anyone traveling via Amtrak.
Uber, Lyft and Taxi service are all readily available across Boston and are an economical alternative to rental cars and parking expenses. Boston also has safe and affordable public transit via the MBTA transit service.

For quickest response, the best place to post questions is in the Facebook Group at facebook.com/groups/OutlandishGatheringsRegistrants - we have a document in the FILES tab where FAQ's will be upated as new questions are posed. Please check the FAQ first to see if your question is already covered.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Registration and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. In addition to swag, badge and lanyard, there are many non-recoverable expenses associated with the production of the Gathering. We are contracted at set minimums and must pay for your spot whether you can attend or not. If (and only if) an event is SOLD OUT AND we have a waitlist for that event will we be able to offer you a refund.
Outlandish Gatherings, LLC is not responsible for refunds for any events cancelled due to an act of god/force ma·jeure. In the event of such an occurence, Outlandish Gatherings reserves the right to reschedule all events for a future date, time and location. Outlandish Gatherings is not responsible for any travel related expenses caused by such cancellations.
Should Outlandish Gatherings 2017 be cancelled for any reason, swag bags will be mailed out to registrants upon the organizers receipt of a self-addressed postage-paid mailer provided by the registrant, and will be considered fullfillment of Outlandish Gatherings, LLC's obligation to the ticket holder.
