Event description

Description

Each year, DC Greens hosts a Regional School Garden Summit. The goal of the Summit is to nurture the emerging tri-state network of nonprofits, schools, and government agencies interested in capacity and network building around school gardens by providing a space to learn, share best practices and make new connections. This year's summit focuses on making connections between social justice and school garden work. The summit is October 13th, with two optional field trips on the 12th and 14th.

**We are limited to 100 spots and the cost for attendees is $79. This fee covers about half of paying the presenters and faciliatators, attendee tote bags filled with books and resource materials, meals and snacks, and the site fee. DC Greens raises the rest. We appreciate your helping cover a portion of these costs. However, we do not want this fee to be a barrier for anyone. If it is, please use the code "Free" when paying for yout tickets and the fee will be waived.**
