You’re invited! Bring a team of 3-4 staff members and join our community of expanded learning professionals to exchange ideas, share promising practices, and build our own capacity as leaders to impact change in the Bay Area. 

We will meet during the 2017-18 fiscal year to explore the unique opportunities and challenges related to serving Middle School youth. Our sessions will center around: Developmental Milestones, Serving the Whole Child, College & Career Readiness, Youth Voice & Leadership, 


Who should participate: Teams of Expanded Learning staff (3-4 members per organization)

ACOE, Integrated Learning Department

The Integrated Learning Department promotes project-based learning to improve student engagement, understanding, and performance across subject areas. We train and support new and veteran teachers to infuse creativity, technology and service learning during in-school and afterschool programming. Our department also collaborates with school districts and community partners to build and sustain positive and healthy school environments.

Integrated Learning Department staff includes experts in arts integration, student wellness, school culture, service learning, after school programming, alternative paths to teacher credentialing and innovative technology integration.
