Description

Regenerative Medicine Workshop:
Herbalism, Permaculture, Song, Community

The path to wellness starts within, radiating out to your family, community and the planet. Our collective journey of living in harmony with the land begins when we actively work to regenerate our cultures, languages, medicine traditions and food systems. We keep the medicine traditions alive, through herbalism, permaculture and our creative voice, we heal the world with each intentional step we take.

Four days of exploring the deep relationship between the living earth, our human bodies/minds/spirits and herbal medicine traditions; weaving a tapestry of regenerative strategy for personal and community wellbeing.

Featuring Penny Livingston of the Regenerative Design Institute, Envision co-founder and resident herbalist Sarah Wu and Lydia Violet of the Music as Medicine Project, with workshops in community resilience, herbalism for the permaculturist’s path, social permaculture, song and creative expression.

Envision, as a community, culture and organization, embodies the Earth Care ethic of Permaculture in our actions of planting trees, supporting local farmers, building with renewable resources, and our zero waste initiative. The ethics of People Care and Fair Share globally are being addressed and challenged from the multinational to the main street level. We know that no organization, business or community operates perfectly, we strive to understand the current malpractice of capitalism as an extractive and exploitive paradigm, constantly questioning, how can we do better? We ask, how can everyone, from our participants, volunteers, interns, artists, staff, and production team all thrive, as a micro reflection of the larger world, situation we want to set an example. This workshop will not offer answers, but will pose more questions and offer tools for participants to bring home, ready to implement in their lifestyles, careers and communities.
