Regenerative Ecology is an exploration of the moral and ethical dimensions of environmental sustainability with the objective of discovering praxis modes to restore the earth. This webinar will explore some of the ecological theories that often prove problematic for grassroots methods of praxis to initiate change.

About the Facilitator

Dr. Ventra Asana is a retired ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and served for 20 years with specialties in eco-ministry and urban environmentalism. Dr. Asana holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Film Studies from Wayne State University, the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Ecumenical Theological Seminary.

She is also Founder and CEO of an environmental consulting business, Spiritual Kinetics (www.spiritualkinetics.com). She is employed part-time as a community liaison with Michigan State University and Detroit Bird Alliance to develop conservation projects transforming urban parks into meadows.
