The Sprite Sheet - Adobe Photoshop Image Generator and You
When teams are small; tasks are huge; and everyone's staring down those ever-looming deadlines, being able to utilize little known tools imbedded in familiar programs, can be of huge benefit to the team. Brian McDonaugh will be your guide, as you discover seemingly obscure tools in Adobe Photoshop, that will make developers jump with glee.
Be sure to meet Brian at our event, view his profile on LinkedIn, and say hello to him on Twitter (@renaissanceboy).
Forget Wireframes; Don't Let it Hurt Your Project
Wireframes are traditionally one of the first deliverables in the user experience designer's workflow. Most usability and web design books herald the wireframe as an important tool used to outline content placement, order components on the page and describe interactions in excruciating detail. In practice, however, wireframes simply confuse the client, whilst adding an underwhelming and unnecessary step to the design process.
Nelson Richards will lead this discussion, a session that will help unfetter you from wireframes, liberate your design process, and offer alternatives which can improve communication across multiple disciplines.
Meet Nelson as well on January 21 and view his profile on LinkedIn.
