Event description

Description

Did you know that 50% of us will experience a mental health challenge in our lifetime? Yet a lot of us are afraid to talk about our mental health, or how we feel. Let's change that. Let's ReFrame.

ReFrame Your Brain is an annual poster contest about mental health, put on by the County of Humboldt's Stigma & Discrimination Reduction program. The contest is open to all Humboldt County residents! Featuring gift card PRIZES for winning entries.

To enter, create a poster with a message that:

  • Shows that a mental health disorder does not define a person

  • Represents hope and recovery in mental health

  • Helps people to talk about mental health

  • Shows that mental health is part of everyone’s life

  • Shows it is okay to live with a mental illness

Submit final entries electronically to mmontgomery@co.humboldt.ca.us or in-person by 5:00 pm on April 12, 2019 at Public Health Branch locations:

  • Eureka (908 7th Street)

  • Garberville (727 Cedar Street)

  • Willow Creek (77 Walnut Way)

Winners will be announced in May! See complete rules below.
