Description

The sacraments of baptism and the Holy Communion were possibly the greatest theological flashpoints of the Protestant Reformation. In this lecture, we will explore the multifacted mideival sacramental issues the Reformers engaged with in hopes of reforming the Christian church in the West.

The Rev. Michael K. Templin

The Rev. Michael K. Templin, M.Div, is a co-founder of The Anglican Oratory, and an ordained priest in the Anglican Church. He attended Criswell College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2010, and completed his Master of Divinity at Cranmer Theological House (2017). Father Mike serves as a curate at Church of the Holy Communion in Dallas, where he is the Liaison for Jewish Ministry at CHC, teaches the college and career bible study, helps lead the Traditions Fellowship small group, and works with Mission/Church Planting opportunities at CHC. He is a member of the Society of King Charles the Martyr, the Society of Our Lady of Walsingham and Forward in Faith North America.
