The Greater Ozarks Regional Breastfeeding Coalition and Cox Health, present a one-day conference, "Refocus on Breastfeeding with 2020 Vision." The event will take place on Friday March 5, 2021 Virtually via Microsoft Teams. Registration is $50 (plus a $4.67 processing fee). MSD nursing credits and/or L-CERPS will be awarded. Internationally known lactation expert, Catherine Watson Genna, will present: “Preventing Failure to Thrive in Breastfeeding Infants”, “Good Latch, Bad Latch: Nuances of Attachment”, and “Tongue-Tie Update”. Dr. Thomas Hale will present on Substance Use and Breastfeeding (Opiates and Marijuana). An additional topic, mental health and breastfeeding, will be presented by a local expert. Sessions start at 8:00 am and sessions conclude at 4:00 pm. Organizations can register multiple attendees when registering online.
