Description

REFINING THE 3-6 PREPARED ENVIRONMENT

Children function optimally in an environment prepared both physically and psychologically to meet their developmental needs and human tendencies. This workshop will examine core Montessori principles that guide us in designing and preparing an environment for young children. We will illustrate examples of the principles from various environments throughout the country and have a discussion on how to evaluate your own environment. Each participant will receive a tool to help evaluate his/her individual environment.
