Description

Come join us in recognizing the Protestant Reformation and its importance!

This year we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. The Reformation was a massive demonstration of God's power, of which we are still seeing the effects. History has generally recognized the sharp doctrinal distinctions between that which was purported by the Roman Catholic Church and that which eventually became Protestantism.

This year we will be focusing on the doctrine of Scripture. It seems, particularly given the 500th anniversary, prudent to consider such a doctrine, as the Bible is a large part of faithful and effective Christian living. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 that "man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."

Speakers and Topics:

Keith Easton, Pastor of Champion Baptist Church - The Necessity of Scripture

Jerry Croyts, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Howland - The Authority of Scripture

Mark Bell, Pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church - The Sufficiency of Scripture

Chris Gault, Pastor of Sovereign Grace Chapel - The Clarity of Scripture

Matt Mager, Pastor of Sovereign Grace Chapel - Biographical Sketch of Martin Luther
