Veer
Producers/Directors: Mariama Slåttøy, Sveinung Gjessing
7 min., Experimental
Veer is a poetic dance short film about ruling and being ruled.

El Roi (The God Who Sees Me)
Director/Writer: Taylor Raye Curry
4:18 min., Experimental
El Roi literally means The God Who Sees Me. This experimental film speaks to the pervasive messages from media and men that determine how we define purpose and beauty. Through sisterhood, we find both. A film about being truly seen, El Roi, deals with themes of invisibility, self-love, and whose gaze is worth vying for.

We Have Our Ways
Directors: Dawn Jones Redstone Producers: Christian Henry
15:26 min., Narrative
In a dystopic but recognizable America, street riots are common, tap water is undrinkable, and you are lucky if you get health insurance. Regina usually keeps her head down to just get by, especially at work. As a customer service rep for Alleviate, she must reject health coverage for desperate callers all day in order to do her job. But when her younger cousin Abigail is in need of a criminalized medical procedure, she must decide what price she is willing to pay for justice.

Like Salt
Directors: Darine Hotait Producers: Erika Rydell, George Velez
25 min., Narrative
When living in diaspora turns into a boxing match, one learns to fight with bare knuckles. Hala, an Arab American female boxer, and Kendrick, an African American jazz musician, improvise their way through a passively aggressive America. She's Miles Davis in boxing gloves and he's Muhammad Ali refusing to live a lie.
