Subject: Field Trips to the Smithsonian Museum in Reed City “Crossroads: Change in Rural America”

We are excited to announce that we have a supporting partnership with Cargill Salt’s “Cargill Cares” team. Cargill Cares is committed to helping area teachers and students visit the exhibit at the Reed City Depot now through March 13th.

This event site has been created to reserve field trip tickets for the Reed City Smithsonian Exhibition. It is a nationally curated, interactive experience, centered on rural America.

The exhibit is appropriate for grades 4-12. Any school is welcome to send classes Monday - Friday. The Depot will be open M-W for class tours only, no public hours.

Reading Lists

The Old Rugged Cross Museum (approx. 1 mile from the Depot) in Reed City will also be open on Thursday's from 1-4 pm if you would like to combine your tour with our local history museum.

There are two classroom tickets (25 kids per ticket max.(please)) available for each time slot. There are 2 time slots offered daily (9-12 & 12-3) M-F from Feb 3rd to March 13.
