Redmond Community Listening Session (1)

The City of Redmond will host a community conversation about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on July 20th at 7pm. This event will be held virtually on Zoom and will be facilitated by Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging consultant Chanin Kelly-Rae. The City has partnered with Kelly-Rae to conduct an equity gap analysis, which will result in a three-year roadmap to create more equitable and inclusive policies. This is necessary to nurture and strengthen Redmond’s diverse community. One element of this process involves engaging community members in conversations centered on DEI.

The community is invited to share feedback about how Redmond can be a place where all people can feel safe, respected, and have a sense of belonging. The feedback received will have a direct influence on various city policies, programs, practices, and the overall culture.
