Event description

Description

The National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), Baltimore Chapter will host its 2nd Annual Men’s Forum on July 13th. For those who are not familiar with NAHSE, NAHSE is a non-profit association of Black health care executives founded in 1968 for the purpose of promoting the advancement and development of Black health care leaders, and elevating the quality of health care services rendered to minority and underserved communities.

Again, NAHSE wants to help minority men and boys be healthier and strong. That’s why this year’s theme is, Redefining Men’s Health: Becoming the Staple, Not the Statistic. Studies show that minority men face many obstacles impacting our health. The objective of the Men’s Forum is to provide a space where men can learn life changing information, ask questions, and receive tools to be the staples of good health practices and not statistics of poor health. The forum will also point out the underlying factors contributing to minority men’s health disparities and social determinants of health.

Attendees were members of the community, health care practitioners, health care leaders, fitness professionals, representatives from various minority health organizations, students, and members of the National Association of Health Services Executives.

Our expert speakers in their respective fields will lead this half day of discussions. You will get motivated. You will be enlightened. You will walk away with empowering tools, applicable knowledge and SWAG!
