Redefine how mid life looks and feels using Strength / Resistance training

Strength training has huge benefits especially for those of us in our 40s and 50s; weight loss, improved sleep, better stress management...

My name is Bruce and I am the Head Coach and Founder of Statera Fitness, a business I set up to help people redefine how mid-life looks and feels.

Having lived in London and done my fair share of partying and burning both ends of the candle (and myself) out, I became frustrated with how my body was changing with age and realised my approach to this was wrong!

That was, until I unlocked the gym - and specifically strength / resistance training - which has far superior benefits for us than other forms of exercise in terms of weight management, sleep, stress management, and how we look and feel...

Come and learn what these are, why they are important, how you can build a structure and routine of exercises that will set you up for life, as well as the science-backed fundamentals for seeing the best possible results!


Who this is for:

Those with little to no experience, or those who want to refresh their knoweldge on Strength Training as part of a holistic approach to their health and wellness.

Ideally you will be around your 40s or 50s as the rewards are particularly profound as we enter the second chapter of our lives... anyone else find it scary how quickly time flies!

Now is the time to jump in and integrate Strength Training into your life to ensure you can be as engaged and live a vibrant life, long into the future.


What to expect:

• We will gather together so everyone feels part of our little workshop community of like-minded people. No awkwardness, just fun and ease!

• First 20 minutes will be a discussion on what the benefits are specifically and why these are important (I will share my and my clients' personal experiences)

• Second 20 minutes allocated for demonstrating 4 key exercises that will target all of the major muscle groups and show you how to apply the fundamentals as well as correct form, taking advatage of the latest science to see improved results!

Opportunity to practise these under my guidance to help 'pattern in' these exercises so you can go away and perform them in your own time (this is optional and no sweating is required).

• Final 20 minutes will be dedicated to a Q&A and opportunity to ask questions to help you go away with what I hope will be a strong desire to adopt more strength training and reap the rewards.


For those who want more support and guidance and are interested in being coached one-to-one will also get the chance to explore this by getting to know me, my style and how my programme works in practise, so you can have a similar experience to my client Dr Tom Stewart (see below quote).
