Description

Join us for our annual Red Ribbon Luncheon, celebrated during the National Red Ribbon campaign week of teaching children to stay drug-free. This year's keynote speaker will be Darryl Strawberry, one of baseball's biggest stars before his career was derailed by substance misuse problems.

Mr. Strawberry helped lead the New York Mets to a World Series championship in 1986 and the New York Yankees to three World Series championships in 1996, 1998, and 1999. He also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants. He and his wife, Tracy, now run Strawberry Ministries in Florida which has treatment centers for teens and adults. He is also an author and has recently written a book entitled Don't Give Up on Me.

You will not want to miss him speak of the battles he overcame on his road to recovery.
