DIRT NASTY

Simon Rex was first introduced to television audiences as an MTV VJ. Soon after, Simon hit fame and popularity delving into acting on shows such as Felicity, Jack and Jill, and What I Like About You. Rex also made guest appearances on Baywatch, Everwood, and Summerland and starred in the Lifetime Series, Monarch Cove. He has also acted in feature films including Scary Movie 3, Karate Dog, Superhero Movie, Scary Movie 4 Hotel California, King Of The Avenue, and Scary Movie 5.

As his alter ego “Dirty Nasty,” actor, musician, producer, and comedian, Simon Rex has developed a die-hard and rabid fan-base across the world.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dirt Nasty started rappin’ on karaoke machines at the age of 14. He grew up listening to Too Short, Geto Boys, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Terence Trent D’Arby, and Sade. Never having a father figure to look up to, he learned about the game, the streets, and the ladies from his record collection. Now Hollywood is his home, where he found and started the 3 man group “Dyslexic Speedreaders” (which included Mickey Avalon and Andre Legacy). Dirt Nasty produced their cult hit “My Dick” and has produced tracks for well-known artists such as The Living Legends, Mickey Avalon, Lil’ B, Andy Milonakis, and Andre Legacy (just to name a few). Yup…he’s a producer too. To date, Dirt Nasty has released 2 albums through Shoot To Kill Music. 2007’s self-titled album that includes favorites such as “1980”, “Droppin’ Names” & “Cracker Ass Fantastic” and 2011’s “Nasty As I Wanna Be” which boasts collaborations with the likes of LMFAO, Ke$ha, Alchemist and more. If u like to piss your pants, you’ll love some Dirt Nasty.

Most recently, Simon (or Dirt Nasty) teamed up with super-producer Diplo, and his friends Andy Milonakis and Riff Raff to form the group “Three Loco.” November of 2012 saw the release of an 8-song album on Diplo’s own Mad Decent record label which garnished them critical acclaim from the likes of MTV, Pitchfork, Vice Magazine and Perez Hilton just to name a few.

Simon’s third album as Dirt Nasty entitled “Palatial" was released on Aug 20th, 2013.

GLADKILL

Siberian born, New York raised producer and musician Boris G has been writing and performing as Gladkill since 2007. Drawing from years of musical experimenting with many genres and instruments, Gladkill combines several elements of electronic music to craft his signature sound. Gladkill can best be described as a combination of melodic IDM melodies fused with bass-heavy rhythms reminiscent of the "Acid Crunk" and Dubstep sound. Gladkill has shared the stage with such performers as Signal Path, Martyparty, Mimosa, Eliot Lipp, R/D, Starkey, NastyNasty, Lazer Sword, and many more. "Everything inspires me. Silence is my canvas."

Refusing to stick to the comfort of making one style of music, Gladkill has rewarded audiences through the sheer diversity of his songs, as he deftly moves between dominating dance floors with his sexy, crunked-out club bangers, as well as captivating home stereo speakers with more downtempo and melodic material.

With a heavier emphasis on songwriting and song structure, Gladkill is aiming to make music that will stand the test of time. When you listen to Gladkill’s songs or see him perform, you’ll discover an artist set apart between the sheets of cool bass lines and ethereal melodies. In an era where disposable dance music is big business, Gladkill makes anything but.

Russ Liquid is the future-vintage groove-blasting maestro who has stirred the souls and minds of the electronic music world. Renowned for his ingenious compositional approach, this cosmic virtuoso and imprints a prophetic musical experience on his audiences. He detonates explosive beatscapes, seamlessly adding flourishes of instrumental color and emotion; all while drawing from an endlessly diverse sonic palette.

In only a short time, Mr. Liquid has developed a reputation for radiating a sonic supernova of genre-bending beats on the dancefloor, captivating audiences with passionate live instrumental performances across the U.S. and beyond. In 2012, the member of the Headtron crew’s dynamic, multi-instrumental, experience was unleashed on some of the most innovative events and festivals around the globe including: Coachella, Symbiosis Gathering, Lightning In A Bottle, Shambhala, Sonic Bloom, Envision Festival (Costa Rica), and Eclipse Festival (Australia).

In February of 2013, Russ resumed his destiny to break musical boundaries and transcended expectations with Foreign Frequency, his debut full length album on STS9‘s 1320 Records. Foreign Frequency transports listeners on an inter- dimensional adventure to the deepest circles of his musical universe, steering audiences into an expansive world of visceral beats, laced with spiraling instrumental accompaniments, and adorned with melodies that only a masterful improvisationalist could manifest.

Hand-crafting sexy sounds by blending elements of many genres together, Russ Liquid applies the colorful tones of instrumental music to the realm of the beats with dance floor-rocking results. This talented producer has found an entirely new palette to “paint” with, and now he seeks to bridge the gap between classical and modern music with new electronic technology and sonic possibilities.

BLOWFLY

BLOWFLY (aka CLARENCE REID) is the caped, masked, Original Dirty Rapper, Godfather of Hip Hop, XXX-rated Funk legend, Party Record King and The Maestro of The Miami Soul Sound.

After spending the 1960s releasing dozens of singles containing sweet soul music, and hitting #7 on the R&B charts with “Nobody But You Babe in 1969,” Clarence Reid decided to fly his freak flag high. By day he was the writer of smash hits like Betty Wright’s “Clean Up Woman,” KC & The Sunshine Band’s “Sound your Funky Horn” and Gwen McCrae’s “Rocking Chair.” Every singer who came out of the TK/Alston hit factory owed at least half a dozen tunes to Clarence Reid. So in order to wash that aroma of respectability off him, Clarence Reid donned a mask and cape, called himself “Blowfly,” and began 40 years of filthy funking with his classic Lp “The Weird World Of Blowfly.”

By the time his 9th Blowfly album, 1980’s “Blowfly’s Party” dropped, Blowfly was banned in Pineville, Louisiana and had been sued by the President of ASCAP. More importantly, he became Hip Hop’s patriarch. Blowfly’s classic raps like “Rap Dirty” went on to influence legions of rappers including: Snoop Dogg, Chuck D, Ice T, The Furious 5, Devin The Dude, Wu Tang Clan, Kool Keith & Slug. Hundreds of Rap & Hip Hop artists have sampled Blowfly’s music, including Beyonce (“Upgrade U”) & Jurassic 5 (“Quality Control”)

In 2005, after 17 years of sporadic touring with the likes of Fishbone, The Pixies and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blowfly hooked up with Miami drummer/producer “Uncle” Tom Bowker and began a 5 year spree that saw over 300 global tour dates in support of two studio albums (“Fahrenheit 69” and “Blowfly’s Punk Rock Party”) released on Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles label and one Live Lp (“Live At the Platypussery”) . Along the way Blowfly headlined a stage on Australia/New Zealand’s BIG DAY OUT festival tour & opened arena dates for German megastars Die Artze.

In 2011, “The Weird World Of Blowfly” – director Jonathan Furmanski’s documentary about Blowfly/Clarence Reid’s life and 2008 world tour - was released in theaters after a world premiere at the SXSW film festival and festival screenings around the globe. It cemented Blowfly’s status as a music icon the world over. Since the film’s release, Blowfly is stronger than ever, funking up venues with a lineup featuring Bowker and guitar slinger Billy “The Kid” Morales.
