About this event
This class is designed for individuals in recovery looking to connect with others in a similar situation while receiving education and skills pertaining to substance use recovery. Our compassionate non-judgmental stance and our knowledge of recovery makes our Recovery Resiliency Class one-of-a-kind. The class combines mental health components, psychoeducation regarding emotion regulation and addiction, coping skills, SMART goal setting, self discovery and improvement, accountability partnerships, practical life philosophies, resilience building, motivational speaking, lectures, and recreational lessons to keep a person’s recovery resilient and engaged in their community and self development long term.
The class is ongoing with open enrollment. This means group participation is open to whomever attends.
Class starts with a check-in, then a lesson based on topics that arose in check-in, ending with final thoughts and optional (but recommended) practice assignment.
