Who:

Tom Duva
In 1996, towards the end of a long battle with addiction, Tom went seeking a solution in Buddhist practice at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Green Mountain Dharma Center. In 1998, he co-founded Po JamaSangha. In 2007, Tom received transmissions of the 14 Mindfulness Precepts and was ordained into the Order of Interbeing, the core community in the Plum Village tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Tom had also been studying with Venerable Thich Tri Hoang and received the Lamp transmission, ordination as a Dharma teacher and lay priest. In recent years he has been studying and practicing with Thay Doji in the US and Europe. He is a member of Refuge Recovery and for many years has mentored the incarcerated through the Buddhist Correspondence Program.

Rick Redondo
Rick Redondo teaches and leads meditation courses, retreats, and corporate workshops in New York City and around the Northeast. He is an active filmmaker, actor and musician. He founded the New York City Heart ofRecovery Group over seven years ago. He enjoys bringing meditation and art to everyday life.
