RECONNECTING: What Our Young People Need Now
Presented by Mary Ellen Young
In today's unprecedented, uncertain and unique environment, we all need more social emotional support than ever. Fear, loss, anxiety and disappointment have significantly impacted many people's ability to cope. The changes in all our lives have us stressed and exhausted. How do we support ourselves and our young people during these challenging times? In this workshop, we will explore "The 7 Keys" to connecting with and supporting your children NOW.
Mary Ellen Young, a DuPage County Regional Office of Education (ROE) Service Provider, has led a variety of parent and educator workshops on topics including bullying, family engagement, trauma and social emotional learning.
