Description
No doubt, there will be a million lingering life-altering consequences stemming from our collective response to save lives in response to this coronavirus plague. A Kaiser Permanente brief cautions the health care industry and policy officials that “during this unprecedented time of uncertainty and fear, it is likely that mental health issues and substance use disorders among people with these conditions will be exacerbated. In addition, epidemics have been shown to induce general stress across a population and may lead to new mental health and substance use issues.”
Let’s be honest. It is easy to blame God for the tragedies and catastrophes in life which amplify pain and inspire a power crisis. And it is also easy to take God for granted when things are going well.
So what does the Coronavirus Pandemic mean for you, your faith and your family? When you hear “we are all in this together” is that really true for you and your children? Now more than ever what we choose to believe matters. How is it possible to strengthen our faith so we can be empowered by our response to this adversity, and really all be in this together?
Join me for a free 90-minute webinar to explore the science reinforcing the faith that makes a free society possible and how this applies to us as parents and to our own families. Let’s proceed with the confidence that the Gospel lessons about control and empowerment can be learned best at home in times of uncertainty, anxiety and suffering.

About me, Joanna Jullien: I am a mom of two grown sons trained in behavioral science and a former technology executive. Over the past 15 years I have studied the human condition as children of God who have been given a spirit of power and love and sound mind that can never be taken, but is so easily surrendered to the bully, the drug or the device. This was my response to the power crisis mobile connectivity introduced into the parent-child bond. So now amid this COVID19 episode and the lingering ripple-effects, let's explore how the inherent power in the parent-child bond equips us to respond to this pandemic and all of life’s adversities.
