Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop - Canberra 2026
Overview
Join us for the Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop at North Canberra Hospital, Bruce ACT! This in-person event will be held in Nancy’s Room (Education Room), level 3 Marian Building (campus map attached). Free parking is available in the multi-story car park opposite the main entrance. Additional parking can also be found in the surface lot next to the multi-story car park. Please allow adequate time for parking and arrival by 8:50am. The Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop is an Australian College of Midwives CPD Endorsed activity offering 6 CPD points. This workshop is specifically designed for midwives but is suitable for doctors, paramedics and students interested in learning more about breech birth. The workshop will cover antenatal education, intrapartum and postnatal care, understanding physiological breech and identifying deviations, understanding research, ACM Consultation & Referral Guidelines and the Midwifery Code of Conduct, documentation, simulation practice and reviewing of breech birth videos. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding on breech birth. Morning and afternoon tea is included as well as a 'Breech Consumer Handout' to give to expectant parents and a 'Breech Manoeuvre Guide' to add to your birth suite or kit! See you there!
